REQUEST FOR ASSISTANCE

Thank You For Reaching Out to Outsiders TNR For Assistance With Trap Neuter Vaccinate Return (TNVR) Of Un-owned Outdoor Cats in the 20 miles outside the City Of Tulsa.

Together We Can Help More Cats!

Outsiders TNR is a non-profit, all-volunteer, donation-based organization doing humane trap-neuter-vaccinate-return (TNVR) based on nationally accepted best practices.

Services of Outsiders TNR are provided to individuals and businesses in the 20 miles outside the City of Tulsa.

All cats going through the Outsiders TNR program will be spayed or neutered, vaccinated for rabies and FvRCP, ear-tipped and returned to the same location that they were taken or trapped from. Any apparent wounds or superficial issues will be treated at the time of TNVR. Pregnancies will be terminated.

Outsiders TNR DOES NOT relocate or remove cats from their current location, provide ongoing care for community cats regarding food or medical care, rescue injured cats, nor take in or adopt out cats and kittens.

When you reach out to Outsiders TNR for assistance, your request goes through the following:

Your request for assistance gets added to our project queue. If you have provided a valid email address, you will receive an email confirmation.

You will later be contacted by a team member to discuss details of your request prior to a visit to the site where the cats are located. (Note: Outsiders TNR always has a waiting list and wants to get to your request as quickly as you do but is limited by human and financial resources.)

The Team Member who takes your project will work with you to plan trapping of the cat(s), which may include adjustment to their feeding schedule and location of where they are fed, as needed.

After the Team Member communicates and schedules with our clinic coordinator/scheduler, cat(s) are trapped either the day before or the morning of surgery and a determination will be made where overnight recovery of the cat(s) will be.

Please know that each request/project is different. Outsiders TNR relies on your participation and support of the effort throughout this entire process.

IMPORTANT! Outsiders TNR manages ALL communication with the clinic that will perform surgery. Services are limited to those provided by the Outsiders TNR program. All costs are billed directly to Outsiders TNR by the respective veterinary clinic, which we pay with donations we receive from you and others.

All cats will be left ear-tipped (left tip of the ear surgically removed while under anesthesia), which is the universal sign that a community cat has been TNVR’d. (NOTE: since the left ear-tip can usually be easily seen, it is obvious that the cat has been TNVR’d, or that it is a new cat that needs to be TNVR'd.

Outsiders TNR operates completely on donations. We can only help as many cats as we have funds for. Our program cost per cat is $65 or more. Outsiders TNR Team Members cover their own vehicle and fuel expenses and most of the supply expenses. We operate with no paid staff and very low overhead.

If you live inside Tulsa city limits, please contact TTown TNR.

We DO NOT RELOCATE CATS or take in friendly cats. If you would like to surrender, please use our cat rescue list.

If you would like to adopt a barn cat, please read more and fill out our barn cat application.
